Reopening Window to Apply for the BSAC
We are excited to share that the application window to join the Chicago Board of Education’s Black Student Achievement Committee (BSAC) is reopening on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026!
The Black Student Achievement Committee is an important part of the Chicago Board of Education’s work. Ensuring broad representation in its governance duties, including oversight and monitoring of the District’s Black Student Success Plan, is critical. The application window will reopen Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, at 9 a.m. and close Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, at 5 p.m.

The BSAC plans to appoint its new members in early 2026.
