The 2023-2024 Honorary Student Board Member Application is Now Available

The Chicago Board of Education is seeking an Honorary Student Board Member for the 2023–2024 School Year.
Are you a rising CPS junior or senior looking for a unique challenge and leadership opportunity for the 2023-24 school year? If so, apply to become an Honorary Student Board Member! If selected, the Honorary Student Board Member will:
- Represent the CPS student body at the Chicago Board of Education’s monthly meetings.
- Serve as an appointed member on a District-level student committee.
- Receive a $1,000 scholarship toward your education at a two- or four-year college or university.
Applications are being accepted from March 13 through May 5, 2023 (the deadline has been extended). Submission requirements are detailed in the application. To be eligible, the student must hold a 3.0 G.P.A. or above and proven leadership experience.
