 WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:\nPublic notice is hereby given by the Chicago Board o
 f Education that it has prepared a FY26 Budget for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Ye
 ar in tentative form\, and that five (5) copies thereof\, available for pu
 blic inspection\, have been filed and are now on file in the Office of the
  Board of Education of the City of Chicago (commonly known as “Chicago Pub
 lic Schools”)\, 42 W. Madison Street\, Garden Level\, Chicago\, Illinois 6
 0602 and available at www.cps.edu/budget and that said Board of Education 
 will hold two (2) Public Hearings upon said Budget on Tuesday\, August 19\

 rs who wish to present during Public Participation may have the option to 
 participate in person at the location of the Public Hearing or virtually v
 ia an electronic platform. The public will have access to the meeting via 
 live stream at www.cpsboe.org.\nFor these two Public Hearings\, advance re
 gistration to speak will begin on Wednesday\, August 13\, 2025 at 5:00 pm 
 and will close on Friday\, August 15\, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Anyone interested 
 in speaking can sign up. After the 48-hour registration period\, a lottery
  will randomly select a set number of speakers from those who registered. 
 For example\, if 100 people register\, the lottery might select 15 of them
  to speak. This process gives everyone a fair chance to address the Board.
  Advance registration during this period is available by the following met
 hods:\n\nOnline: www.cpsboe.org (recommended)\nPhone: (773) 553-1600\n\nTo
  ensure equity of access to address the Board\, an individual may not spea
 k at back-to-back meetings and more than one meeting per month. If you reg
 ister for back-to-back meetings and more than one meeting per month\, you 
 will not be included for that meeting lottery. In the event an individual 
 registers to speak at a consecutive meeting\, the individual will not be c
 alled to address the Board.\nAdvance registration to observe will also be 
 available beginning Wednesday\, August 13\, 2025 at 5:00 pm and will close
  on Friday\, August 15\, 2025 at 5:00 pm or until all slots are filled. Ad
 vance registration during this period is available by the following method

  last person who has registered to speak has spoken\, or at 2:30 pm for th
