 f Education that it has prepared a FY26 Budget for the 2025-2026 Fiscal Ye
 ar in tentative form\, and that five (5) copies thereof\, available for pu
 blic inspection\, have been filed and are now on file in the Office of the
  Board of Education of the City of Chicago (commonly known as “Chicago Pub
 lic Schools”)\, 42 W. Madison Street\, Garden Level\, Chicago\, Illinois 6
 0602 and available at www.cps.edu/budget and that said Board of Education 
 will hold two (2) Public Hearings upon said Budget on Tuesday\, August 19\

 akers who wish to present during Public Participation may have the option 
 to participate in person at the location of the Public Hearing or virtuall
 y via an electronic platform. The public will have access to the meeting v
 ia live stream at www.cpsboe.org.\nFor these two Public Hearings\, advance
  registration to speak will begin on Wednesday\, August 13\, 2025 at 5:00 
 pm and will close on Friday\, August 15\, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Anyone interest
 ed in speaking can sign up. After the 48-hour registration period\, a lott
 ery will randomly select a set number of speakers from those who registere
 d. For example\, if 100 people register\, the lottery might select 15 of t
 hem to speak. This process gives everyone a fair chance to address the Boa
 rd. Advance registration during this period is available by the following 
 methods:\n\nOnline: www.cpsboe.org (recommended)\nPhone: (773) 553-1600\n\
 nTo ensure equity of access to address the Board\, an individual may not s
 peak at back-to-back meetings and more than one meeting per month. If you 
 register for back-to-back meetings and more than one meeting per month\, y
 ou will not be included for that meeting lottery. In the event an individu
 al registers to speak at a consecutive meeting\, the individual will not b
 e called to address the Board.\nAdvance registration to observe will also 
 be available beginning Wednesday\, August 13\, 2025 at 5:00 pm and will cl
 ose on Friday\, August 15\, 2025 at 5:00 pm or until all slots are filled.

 ten comments related to the FY26 Tentative Budget via the Written Comments
  Form on the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or mailed to 42 W. Madison
