DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room.  The Board President and the Chief Exec
 utive Officer have determined that registered speakers who wish to present
  during Public Participation may have the option to participate in person 
 at the location of the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic platfo
 rm. The public will have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.o
 rg.\nThe Public Participation segment of the meeting will begin as indicat
 ed in the meeting agenda and proceed in accordance with Public Participati
 on guidelines. Board Meetings will be live-streamed to the general public 
 on the Board website (www.cpsboe.org). \nFor the January 15\, 2025\, Agend
 a Review Committee Meeting\, advance registration to speak will be availab
 le beginning Monday\, January 13th at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Tuesday
 \, January 14th at 10:30 a.m. Anyone interested in speaking can sign up. A
 fter the 24-hour registration period\, a lottery will randomly select a se
 t number of speakers from those who registered. For example\, if 100 peopl
 e register\, the lottery might select 30 of them to speak. This process gi
 ves everyone a fair chance to address the Board. Advance registration duri

 sh to submit written comments for Board of Education meetings can do so vi

 sting of the public agenda and notice is posted through 5 p.m. the day aft
 er the Board of Education meeting will be submitted to the Board for their
  consideration and posted within five (5) business days on our website at 
 www.cpsboe.org.
