DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at Colman Office\, 4655 S Dearborn Str
 eet\, Auditorium. The Board President and the Chief Executive Officer have
  determined that registered speakers who wish to present during Public Par
 ticipation may have the option to participate in person at the location of
  the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic platform. The public wil
 l have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nThe Public Pa
 rticipation segment of the meeting will begin as indicated in the meeting 
 agenda and proceed in accordance with Public Participation guidelines. Boa
 rd Meetings will be live-streamed to the general public on the Board websi
 te (www.cpsboe.org). \nFor the November 1\, 2024 Board Meeting\, advance r
 egistration to speak will be available beginning Wednesday\, October 30th 
 at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Thursday\, October 31st at 10:30 a.m. Anyo
 ne interested in speaking can sign up. After the 24 hour registration peri
 od\, a lottery will randomly select a set number of speakers from those wh
 o registered. For example\, if 100 people register\, the lottery might sel
 ect 30 of them to speak. This process gives everyone a fair chance to addr
 ess the Board. Advance registration during this period is available by the

 553-1600\n\nMembers of the public who wish to submit written comments for 
 Board of Education meetings can do so via the Written Comments Form on the
  Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or mailed to 1 N Dearborn\, Suite 950. 
 Written comments received between the posting of the public agenda and not
 ice is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of Education meeting 
 will be submitted to the Board for their consideration and posted within f
 ive (5) business days on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
