 he Agenda for the Agenda Review Committee Meeting to be held on Thursday\,
  October 24\, 2024\, at 10:30 a.m.The meeting will be held at Colman CPS A
 dministrative Office\, 4655 South Dearborn\, in the auditorium. Public wil
 l enter through door #3. The purpose of the Agenda Review Committee Meetin
 g is to review potential Board Reports to be considered by the Board at it
 s Regular Meeting on November 1\, 2024. The Board President and the Chief 
 Executive Officer have determined that registered speakers who wish to pre
 sent during Public Participation may have the option to participate in per
 son at the location of the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic pl
 atform. The public will have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsb
 oe.org.\nPublic Participation Guidelines are available on www.cpsboe.org. 
 \nFor the October 24\, 2024 Agenda Review Committee meeting\, advance regi
 stration to speak will be available beginning Tuesday\, October 22nd at 10
 :30 a.m. and will close on Wednesday\, October 23rd at 10:30 a.m. Anyone i
 nterested in speaking can sign up. After the 24-hour registration period\,
  a lottery will randomly select a set number of speakers from those who re
 gistered. For example\, if 100 people register\, the lottery might select 
 30 of them to speak. This process gives everyone a fair chance to address 
 the Board. Advance registration during this period is available by the fol
 lowing methods:\n\nOnline:  www.cpsboe.org (recommended)\nPhone:   (773) 5
 53-1600\n\nTo ensure equity of access to address the Board\, an individual
  may not speak at back-to-back meetings and more than one meeting per mont
 h.  If you register for back-to-back meetings and more than one meeting pe
 r month\, you will not be included for that meeting lottery. In the event 
 an individual registers to speak at a consecutive meeting\, the individual
  will not be called to address the Board.\nAdvance registration to observe
  will also be available beginning Tuesday\, October 22nd at 10:30 a.m. and
  will close on Wednesday\, October 23rd at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all slots 
 are filled. Advance registration during this period is available by the fo

 erson Observer Registrations are taken on a first come\, first serve basis
  as seats become available.\nThe Public Participation segment of the meeti
 ng will begin following the President’s opening statement and proceed for 
 no more than 30 registered speakers for sixty minutes. Registered speakers
  will receive instructions for Public Particiption.\nMembers of the public
  may submit written comments for Board of Education meetings via the Writt
 en Comments Form on the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or mailed to 1 N
  Dearborn\, Suite 950. Written comments received between the day the publi
 c agenda is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of Education mee
 ting will be submitted to the Board and posted within five (5) business da
 ys on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
