 OARD MEETING\n     Enclosed is a copy of the Agenda for the Special Board 
 of Education Meeting to be held on Friday\, November 3\, 2023\, at 9:00 a.
 m.  The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison Street\,
  Garden Level\, Board Room. The Board President and the Chief Executive Of
 ficer have determined that registered speakers who wish to present during 
 Public Participation may have the option to participate in person at the l
 ocation of the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic platform. The 
 public will have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\n   
   Public Participation Guidelines are available on www.cpsboe.org. \n     
 For the November 3\, 2023 Special Board Meeting\, advance registration to 
 speak will be available beginning Wednesday\, November 1st at 9:00 a.m. an
 d will close on Thursday\, November 2nd at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all slots 
 are filled.  Advance registration during this period is available by the f

  553-1600\n\n     To ensure equity of access to address the Board\, an ind
 ividual may not speak at two (2) consecutive meetings. In the event an ind
 ividual registers to speak at a consecutive meeting\, the individual will 
 not be called to address the Board.\n     Advance registration to observe 
 will also be available beginning Wednesday\, November 1st at 9:00 a.m. and
  will close on Thursday\, November 2nd at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all slots a

 ation of the Special Board Meeting\n\n     Same Day\, In-Person Observer R
 egistrations are taken on a first come\, first serve basis as seats become
  available.\n     The Public Participation segment of the meeting will beg
 in following the President’s opening statement and proceed for no more tha
 n five (5)  registered speakers for ten minutes. Registered speakers will 
 receive instructions for Public Participation.\n     Members of the public
  may submit written comments for Board of Education meetings via the Writt
 en Comments Form on the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or mailed to 1 N
  Dearborn\, Suite 950. Written comments received between the day the publi
 c agenda is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of Education mee
 ting will be submitted to the Board and posted within five (5) business da
