 PECIAL BOARD MEETING\n Enclosed is a copy of the Agenda for the Special Bo
 ard of Education Meeting to be held on Wednesday\, November 16\, 2022\, at
  9:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. The Board President and the Chief Execu
 tive Officer have determined that registered speakers who wish to present 
 during Public Participation may participate virtually via an electronic pl
 atform. The public will have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsb
 oe.org.\nInterim Guidelines have been issued by the President of the Board
  of Education of the City of Chicago in accordance with Board Rule 2-4.1. 
 These Interim Guidelines are effective July 26\, 2021. During the period t
 hey are in effect\, these Interim Guidelines supersede the Public Particip
 ation Guidelines issued August 28\, 2013 (rev. September 13\, 2018). These
  Interim Guidelines are available on www.cpsboe.org and attached to this n
 otice.\nFor the November 16\, 2022 Special Board Meeting\, advance registr
 ation to speak will be available beginning Monday\, November 14th at 9:30 
 a.m. and will close on Tuesday\, November 15th at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all
  slots are filled. Advance registration during this period is available by
  the following methods:\n\nOnline: www.cpsboe.org (recommended)\nPhone: (7
 73) 553-1600\n\nTo ensure equity of access to address the Board\, an indiv
 idual may not speak at two (2) consecutive Regular Board Meetings. In the 
 event an individual registers to speak at a consecutive Regular Board Meet
 ing\, the individual will not be called to address the Board.\nThe Public 
 Participation segment of the meeting will begin following the Roll Call an
 d proceed for no more than five (5) registered speakers for ten minutes. R
 egistered speakers will receive instructions for Public Participation.\nMe
 mbers of the public may submit written comments for Board of Education mee
 tings via the Written Comments Form on the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.o
 rg or mailed to 1 N Dearborn\, Suite 950. Written comments received betwee
 n the day the public agenda is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Boa
 rd of Education Special meeting will be submitted to the Board and posted 
 within five (5) business days on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
