DESCRIPTION:To protect the public’s health in response to the COVID-19 pand
 emic\, and as permitted by Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order 2020 – 44\,
  the public will have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.org\
 , and Public Participation will be held virtually via an electronic platfo
 rm. For the August 26\, 2020 Board Meeting\, advance registration to speak
  will be available beginning Monday\, August 24th at 10:30 a.m. and close 
 Tuesday\, August 25th at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all 30 slots are filled. You
  can advance register during the registration period by the following meth

 o ensure equity of access to address the Board\, an individual may not spe
 ak at two (2) consecutive Board Meetings. In the event an individual regis
 ters to speak at a consecutive Board Meeting\, the individual will not be 
 called to address the Board.\nThe Public Participation segment of the meet
 ing will begin following the CEO Remarks and proceed for no more than 30 r
 egistered speakers for 60 minutes. Registered speakers will receive instru
 ctions for accessing the electronic platform for Public Participation.\n
