DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. Board meetings will adhere to the curre
 ct COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols and are now mask optional. The B
 oard President and the Chief Executive Officer have determined that regist
 ered speakers who wish to present during Public Participation may have the
  option to participate in person at the location of the Board meeting or v
 irtually via an electronic platform. The public will have access to the me
 eting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nThe Public Participation segment of 
 the meeting will begin as indicated in the meeting agenda and proceed in a
 ccordance with Public Participation guidelines. Board Meetings will be liv
 e-streamed to the general public on the Board website (www.cpsboe.org). In
 terim Guidelines have been issued by the President of the Board of Educati
 on of the City of Chicago in accordance with Board Rule 2-4.1. These Inter
 im Guidelines are effective July 26\, 2021\, and its purpose is to address
  the manner in which the Board will conduct its public meetings to comply 
 with recommended COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols. Interim Guideline
 s may change to comply COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols. These Inter
 im Guidelines are available on www.cpsboe.org.\nFor the June 28\, 2023 Boa
 rd Meeting\, advance registration to speak will be available beginning Mon
 day\, June 26th at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Tuesday\, June 27th at 5:0
 0 p.m.\, or until all slots are filled. Advance registration during this p

 mit written comments for Board of Education meetings can do so via the Wri

 the public agenda and notice is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Bo
 ard of Education meeting will be submitted to the Board for their consider
 ation and posted within five (5) business days on our website at www.cpsbo
 e.org.
