DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. Board meetings will adhere to the curre
 ct COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols and are now mask optional.  The 
 Board President and the Chief Executive Officer have determined that regis
 tered speakers who wish to present during Public Participation may have th
 e option to participate in person at the location of the Board meeting or 
 virtually via an electronic platform. The public will have access to the m
 eeting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nThe Public Participation segment of
  the meeting will begin as indicated in the meeting agenda and proceed in 
 accordance with Public Participation guidelines. Board Meetings will be li
 ve-streamed to the general public on the Board website (www.cpsboe.org). I
 nterim Guidelines have been issued by the President of the Board of Educat
 ion of the City of Chicago in accordance with Board Rule 2-4.1. These Inte
 rim Guidelines are effective July 26\, 2021\, and its purpose is to addres
 s the manner in which the Board will conduct its public meetings to comply
  with recommended COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols. Interim Guidelin
 es may change to comply COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols. These Inte
 rim Guidelines are available on www.cpsboe.org.\nFor the September 28\, 20
 22 Board Meeting\, advance registration to speak will be available beginni
 ng Monday\, September 26th at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Tuesday\, Septe
 mber 27th at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all slots are filled. Advance registrati

  who wish to submit written comments for Board of Education meetings can d

  the posting of the public agenda and notice is posted through 5 p.m. the 
 day after the Board of Education meeting will be submitted to the Board fo
