 osed is a copy of the Agenda for the Special Board of Education Meeting to
  be held on Wednesday\, June 1\, 2022\, at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will be h
 eld at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison Street\, Garden Level\, Board Roo
 m. The Board President and the Chief Executive Officer have determined tha
 t registered speakers who wish to present during Public Participation may 
 participate virtually via an electronic platform. The public will have acc
 ess to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nInterim Guidelines have
  been issued by the President of the Board of Education of the City of Chi
 cago in accordance with Board Rule 2-4.1. These Interim Guidelines are eff
 ective July 26\, 2021. During the period they are in effect\, these Interi
 m Guidelines supersede the Public Participation Guidelines issued August 2
 8\, 2013 (rev. September 13\, 2018). These Interim Guidelines are availabl
 e on www.cpsboe.org and attached to this notice.\nFor the June 1\, 2022 Sp
 ecial Board Meeting\, due to the Memorial Day Holiday\, advance registrati
 on to speak will be available beginning Friday\, May 27th at 10:30 a.m. an
 d will close on Tuesday\, May 31st at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all slots are f
 illed. Advance registration during this period is available by the followi
 ng methods:\n\nOnline: www.cpsboe.org (recommended)\nPhone: (773) 553-1600
 \n\nTo ensure equity of access to address the Board\, an individual may no
 t speak at two (2) consecutive Regular Board Meetings. In the event an ind
 ividual registers to speak at a consecutive Regular Board Meeting\, the in
 dividual will not be called to address the Board.\nThe Public Participatio
 n segment of the meeting will begin following the Roll Call and proceed fo
 r no more than 5 registered speakers for ten minutes. Registered speakers 
 will receive instructions for Public Participation.\nMembers of the public
  may submit written comments for Board of Education meetings via the Writt
 en Comments Form on the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or mailed to 1 N
  Dearborn\, Suite 950. Written comments received between the day the publi
 c agenda is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of Education Spe
 cial meeting will be submitted to the Board and posted within five (5) bus
 iness days on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
