 be held on Saturday\, March 5\, 2022\, at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be h
 eld at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison Street\, Garden Level\, Board Roo
 m. The Board President and the Chief Executive Officer have determined tha
 t registered speakers who wish to present during Public Participation may 
 participate virtually via an electronic platform. The public will have acc
 ess to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nInterim Guidelines have
  been issued by the President of the Board of Education of the City of Chi
 cago in accordance with Board Rule 2-4.1. These Interim Guidelines are eff
 ective July 26\, 2021. During the period they are in effect\, these Interi
 m Guidelines supersede the Public Participation Guidelines issued August 2
 8\, 2013 (rev. September 13\, 2018). These Interim Guidelines are availabl
 e on www.cpsboe.org and attached to this notice.\nFor the March 5\, 2022 S
 pecial Board Meeting\, advance registration to speak will be available beg
 inning Thursday\, March 3rd at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Friday\, March
  4th at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all slots are filled. Advance registration du
 ring this period is available by the following methods:\n\n Online: www.cp
 sboe.org (recommended)\nPhone: (773) 553-1600\n\nTo ensure equity of acces
 s to address the Board\, an individual may not speak at two (2) consecutiv
 e Board Meetings. In the event an individual registers to speak at a conse
 cutive Board Meeting\, the individual will not be called to address the Bo
 ard.\nThe Public Participation segment of the meeting will begin following
  the Roll Call and proceed for no more than 5 registered speakers for ten 
 minutes. Registered speakers will receive instructions for Public Particip
 ation.\nMembers of the public may submit written comments for Board of Edu
 cation meetings via the Written Comments Form on the Board’s website at ww
 w.cpsboe.org or mailed to 1 N Dearborn\, Suite 950. Written comments recei
 ved between the day the public agenda is posted through 5 p.m. the day of 
 the meeting will be submitted to the Board and posted within five (5) busi
 ness days on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
