DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. The Board President and the Chief Execu
 tive Officer have determined that registered speakers who wish to present 
 during Public Participation may have the option to participate in person a
 t the location of the Board meeting or virtually via an electronic platfor
 m. The public will have access to the meeting via live stream at cpsboe.or
 g.\nInterim Guidelines have been issued by the President of the Board of E
 ducation of the City of Chicago in accordance with Board Rule 2-4.1. These
  Interim Guidelines are effective July 26\, 2021. During the period they a
 re in effect\, these Interim Guidelines supersede the Public Participation
  Guidelines issued August 28\, 2013 (rev. September 13\, 2018).\nWhen regi
 stration opens\, 30 public participation slots will be available to member
 s of the public\, who can participate in person or virtually via an electr
 onic platform that the Board will offer.\nFor the June 22\, 2022 Board Mee
 ting\, due to the observance of Juneteenth National Freedom Day\, advance 
 registration to speak will be available beginning Friday\, June 17th at 10
 :30 a.m. and will close on Tuesday\, June 21st at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all
  slots are filled. Advance registration during this period is available by

 d of Education meetings via the Written Comments Form on the Board’s websi

 ts received between the day the public agenda is posted through 5 p.m. the
  day after the Board of Education meeting will be submitted to the Board a
 nd posted within five (5) business days on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
