DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be held at CPS Loop Office\, 42 West Madison S
 treet\, Garden Level\, Board Room. Board meetings will adhere to the curre
 nt COVID-19 safety guidance and protocols and are now mask-optional. The B
 oard President and the Chief Executive Officer have determined that regist
 ered speakers who wish to present during Public Participation may have the
  option to participate in person at the location of the Board meeting or v
 irtually via an electronic platform. The public will have access to the me
 eting via live stream at cpsboe.org.\nInterim Guidelines have been issued 
 by the President of the Board of Education of the City of Chicago in accor
 dance with Board Rule 2-4.1. These Interim Guidelines are effective July 2
 6\, 2021. During the period they are in effect\, these Interim Guidelines 
 supersede the Public Participation Guidelines issued August 28\, 2013 (rev
 . September 13\, 2018).\nWhen registration opens\, 30 public participation
  slots will be available to members of the public\, who can participate in
  person or virtually via an electronic platform that the Board will offer.
 \nFor the April 27\, 2022 Board Meeting\, advance registration to speak wi
 ll be available beginning Monday\, April 25th at 10:30 a.m. and will close
  on Tuesday\, April 26th at 5:00 p.m.\, or until all slots are filled. Adv

 f Education meeting will be submitted to the Board and posted within five
