 osed is a copy of the Agenda for the Special Board of Education Meeting to
  be held on Friday\, December 3\, 2021\, at 12:00 p.m. The Board President
  and the Chief Executive Officer have determined that registered speakers 
 who wish to present during Public Participation may have the option to par
 ticipate in person at the location of the Board meeting or virtually via a
 n electronic platform. The public will have access to the meeting via live
  stream at cpsboe.org.\nInterim Guidelines have been issued by the Preside
 nt of the Board of Education of the City of Chicago in accordance with Boa
 rd Rule 2-4.1. These Interim Guidelines are effective July 26\, 2021. Duri
 ng the period they are in effect\, these Interim Guidelines supersede the 
 Public Participation Guidelines issued August 28\, 2013 (rev. September 13
 \, 2018). These Interim Guidelines are available on www.cpsboe.org and att
 ached to this notice.\nFor the December 3\, 2021 Special Board Meeting\, a
 dvance registration to speak will be available beginning Wednesday\, Decem
 ber 1st at 10:30 a.m. and will close on Thursday\, December 2nd at 5:00 p.
 m.\, or until all slots are filled. Advance registration during this perio
 d is available by the following methods:\n\nOnline: www.cpsboe.org (recomm
 ended)\nPhone: (773) 553-1600\n\nTo ensure equity of access to address the
  Board\, an individual may not speak at two (2) consecutive Board Meetings
 . In the event an individual registers to speak at a consecutive Board Mee
 ting\, the individual will not be called to address the Board.\nThe Public
  Participation segment of the meeting will begin following the Roll Call a
 nd proceed for no more than 5 registered speakers for ten minutes. Registe
 red speakers will receive instructions for Public Participation.\nMembers 
 of the public may submit written comments for Board of Education meetings 
 via the Written Comments Form on the Board’s website at www.cpsboe.org or 
 mailed to 1 N Dearborn\, Suite 950. Written comments received between the 
 day the public agenda is posted through 5 p.m. the day after the Board of 
 Education meeting will be submitted to the Board and posted within five (5
 ) business days on our website at www.cpsboe.org.
